Defense Litigation
We defend employers against lawsuits filed by employees or former employees, whether filed individually or on a class action basis, for wrongful termination, sexual harassment, wage and overtime claims, all types of employment discrimination, as well as all types of business litigation, including but not limited to unfair competition and trade secret litigation. We also defend employers who have been charged by federal or state government agencies with violations of labor laws, such as laws regulating wages, hours, health and safety.

Preventative Practices
We draft and implement employee handbooks and job applications, establish discipline, termination and documentation procedures, assist in developing and maintaining personnel files and provide training for managers and supervisors on such issues as sexual harassment, drugs and alcohol in the workplace, and wrongful termination.
Union Relations
Howards Knee assists employers in all stages of union relations, including the defense of unfair practice claims before the NLRB, negotiation of successor collective bargaining agreements and employee grievances and arbitrations.
